Classes were held as usual at Chambly Academy in St. Lambert yesterday after a vandal, or vandals, tried to set fire to a classroom Monday night.
Firefighters responded to a call at the school about 11 p.m. to find one of the building's windows broken and a bottle filled with a substance that may have been gasoline inside.
The bottle did not explode. Graffiti described as "disparaging remarks about the principal" were on the outside of the school, said Kevin Lukian, director of the Riverside School Board.
He estimated the damage at $2,000.

yikes! And there was something similar a couple of years ago, with vandalism to the music room.
Believe those who seek the truth. Doubt those who find it.
